My workspace
I have 2 benches, one for only wax work because it has to be clean and free of debris and one for my metal work. I love modern as well as antique furniture and my house is a nice mix of it. So needless to say my shop also reflects that style :-)

Spring Energy
There is nothing that can prevent a plant from growing, no asphalt, no rock, the plant will find a way to come out and grow up. In Chinese Medicine that is called Wood Energy and is associated with the liver. Here is a wonderful article if you are interested http://www.thechineseelements.com/wood.htm

Jewelry Rendering
I am getting back into jewelry rendering, which is an art form in itself. I have to sit down and practice because I have gotten a little rusty over the years.

Desert Plants
Look at these beautiful new growths on a Prickly Pear cactus in my yard. They almost look like succulent which made me research the subject a bit. Here is the information...
The cactus family, Cactaceae, is one of the many families having succulent growth. Other plant families having this type of growth are milkweed, lily, and agave families. Therefore it is often said, cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti.
